This is the classic Southwind (Yamaha mold) made in Australia 22’ (6.73m) Utility Boat (UB) lovingly called the Banana Boat. Modeled on the Japanese and Pacific island dory’s.
A one owner, no expense spared UB which has mainly been used as a tender to a larger vessel at Rotto.
The 14” mag wheel well balanced heavy duty rolla tandem trailer with override brakes was overhauled by Road Master in 2012 and is in excellent cond and tows beautifully.
All five tyres are exclnt,
The low 131-hrs 2004 90-HP Yamaha 2 stroke motor has a strong history of annual maintenance.
The stem to stern gunwhale rubbing strake is invaluable for coming alongside larger vessels.
Two batteries, power amp, radio head unit with CD, sub-woofer⁄base driver and two mids.
27MHz Radio, Fishfinder⁄GPS is a Raymarine DRAGONFLY 7” screen installed 12months ago.
Auxiliary fuel tank is 25lt, and the long range tank 90lt was removed and pressure tested, new sender fitted, new filter housing and all fuel lines replaced 10 months ago.
The Bimini stainless frame , rod holders and canvas top with all new electricals was replaced in March 2015.
